OK, I've recently downloaded v. 1.5.4b and I've installed it without trouble on two of my sites (through 2 different hosts). But now when I try doing it on a third host, everything seems to be working fine until I click submit settings. Then, if I'm in Firefox, it tries to download the index.php file and have another application open it. If I'm in IE6 on Windows, it just gives me a general error and says it can't open the page. I've tried reinstalling it and checking all my permissions per the install instructions again, but the same problem happens.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? I assume it might be something isn't installed  on my hosts site, or isn't activated or is my Page Root path not right (it looks ok to me, but I can't be 100% sure with this host). I did a couple searches in the Bugs area, but I didn't find anything that sounded close.

Thanks in advance.

-Bill

Hi,

What kind of webserver is running? Is this an IIS that does not execute php scripts? Are other php applications working?

It's Apache. Yes, I have other PHP code in pages (queries, etc.) that are all working fine.

The same - could you be so kind and send me the urls of your phpSitemapNG installations as a private message? I would like to have a look at them.

Best regards,
Tobias
